Mandala Making: Thursday, July 10, 6-8pm
Bring your creativity and dive into the art of mandala creation!
Join us for a relaxing and creative gathering to make mandalas—sacred circles that help us ground, reflect, and return to our center. Amidst the swirl of summer activities and shifting energies of the world, this workshop offers a space to slow down, and engage in a meditative and integrating practice of connecting with yourself and others, and creating beauty from within. No art experience needed—just bring your curiosity and an open heart.
The word "mandala" means "sacred circle" and symbolizes wholeness, completeness, unity, and more. We will use a variety of materials including acrylic paints, oil and regular pastels, pencils, and markers. You’re welcome to bring a round object to paint on, like a record or plate - a unique “base” for your mandala!
Details:
Location: Groundfloor, 907 4th St, San Rafael
Attendees: Limited to 12 participants
Supplies: All materials included in the cost
Attire: Wear clothing that you don't mind getting colors on, if you wish to get a little messy.
Let’s gather, center, and find our zen together.
Marion, the facilitator, is an experienced teacher, visual artist and a spiritual guide who has been facilitating workshops for over 15 years. As the founder of Heart of Us, Marion fosters genuine connection through creativity, mindfulness, and loving kindness.
Please arrive 10-15 mins early to find parking and settle in, so we start on time.
