Art of Relating: Community Connection.

Sliding scale: $28 - $44.

Next date announcement coming up soon.

Are you looking for new, meaningful connections, friendships and community?

Come and experience deep connection that is possible when we go beyond words - with drawing and spoken word. In this experiential format we will practice the art of authentic self-expression, deep listening, and heart-centered relating. Our structured and fluid format makes it easy to connect deeply without worrying about what to say or do.

We will gather in a spirit of openness, curiosity, and care. That helps us create an atmosphere of friendliness, which we can all enjoy. Through guided self-reflection and creative activities, we will:

  • Express our selves in genuine ways while attuning to others.

  • Listen deeply for meaning that is beyond words.

  • Co-create connections that allow our unique spirits to shine.

Our time together will involve personal sharing and interactive exercises designed to connect in deep, playful and meaningful ways.

What our participants say:

Marion and Pauline create a welcoming, warm, and grounded space to safely explore connecting on a deeper level. I often feel anxious and drained when meeting new people, especially in groups, but the quality of their presence and the invitation to pair drawing with sharing leaves me feeling calmly energized, genuinely open to others, and more comfortable in my own skin." - Nancy A.

“While I had a bit of anxiousness around “doing art”, I found it illuminating to see what came out on the page, and to have others’ witness that and give their astute reflections.” - R.R.

Our flow: we begin with an opening circle and brief introductions, followed by prompted activities in dyads and small groups. Drawing as we speak allows for getting to know each another in deeper and playful ways. We close in a circle, reflecting on our experience together.

We will support each other in cultivating genuine, vibrant, and nourishing ways of connecting. Join this opportunity to co-create a heartfelt, mindful community with likeminded people who value to authenticity, aliveness, mindfulness and intimacy.

No artistic skills or prior experience are required, just a willingness to be real, mindful and engage from the heart.

We have space for 12 people. Please bring a journal, water, and wear comfortable clothes. We look forward to connecting with you!

  • Our agreement: at The Heart of Us we co-create a safe space for genuine connection. We do so with a shared intention for mindfulness, kindness, and respect toward each other. We practice witnessing and reflecting, and accepting one another as we are, without judging or fixing. You can read more about the principles in the “About/ How it Works” section. This is Not a process/ therapy group space.
